Dairy Queen is no match for the Dairy Fairy

As least that is how I see it.

This is a Dairy Queen outlet at Changchun’s Euroasia Shopping Mall. It seems to be doing well.

Business is good despite these prices which are close to what we would pay in Canada. One dollar CDN equals 5 Yuan (¥) so a the cheapest drink here is $2.00 and the prices go up to 30¥ which is $6.00. That is a lot of money in China.

When I go back to Changchun, I think that if I crave an ice cream, I will go to the New Life Shopping Mall’s Dairy Fairy. There is something about the name that I like.

As you can see, KFC has to offer better ice cream options in China than they do in Canada or the United States. The competition is so fierce there.

Can McDonald’s be left behind? Of course not. This premium ice cream features real fruit and a tall spoon to help you dig it all out.
